Empowering Miracles Birth Services support a birthing person and their support partner (if they have one) through the journey of pregnancy - helping them by providing educational resources and empowering them with the tools they feel they need for their birth and providing self advocacy information so they know their rights through out childbirth. Birth Doulas also usually accompany the birthing person and their support people through their birth, whether it's at home, at a birth centre or in a hospital setting, we join them whenever they feel they need us to and we don't leave their side until after the baby is born and they are settled. Everything a Doula does is strictly non-medical, during labor we provide physical, emotional and mental support and comfort measures. Empowering Miracles Birth Services also provides a follow up visit usually within a couple of weeks of their baby being born and recap our time working together while also providing additional resources they may need at the time.
